WANTAGH, NY (CelebrityAccess) — A truck carrying country artist Luke Bryan's touring equipment crashed into an overpass in New York on early Monday morning following Bryan's performance in Long Island on Sunday night.

According to NBC News, the tractor-trailer was "crushed like an accordion" after becoming wedged under the the Sunrise Highway overpass on Wantagh State Parkway around 2:30 a.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

It's unclear of Bryan's gear was damaged in the accident, but the tour has not been affected. His next scheduled show is the Red White & Boom Music Festival In Lexington, KY on Sept. 1st.

Before the accident, Bryan took to Twitter to apologize to fans for the show at Jones Beach, stating that he was feeling ill.

"Hey Jones beach. Sorry bout voice tonight. Gave you all I could. Glad it got better mid show. Whew. 4 show in New York State amazing," Bryan tweeted late Sunday following the gig. "What's crazy is my allergies. I focus all day to sing good. And some days the kitchen sink won't work. Then you just drink tequila. Ha."
