Tonight, father and son duo Jack and Tim will take to the BGT stage as they perform one last time in a bid to be crowned the 2018 winners of Britain’s Got Talent.

Tim Goodacre is 44 and originally from Boston, Lincolnshire, he now lives in Norwich with his wife, daughter and son Jack, who is 12 years old. Speaking about performing with his father before the first round of auditions, Jack said: “I’ve performed on stage before – it was an awesome experience but I’ve always wanted to do something with my dad like this, So we thought BGT would be the right thing. It’s really amazing when I get to play with my dad”.

Tim has written and produced tracks for recording artists and Jack, is no stranger to the spotlight. As well as his standout performance on The Voice Kids, he also played the role of Zak Mooneyham in the successful West End musical adaption of the 2004 movie School of Rock.

The pair wowed the audience, TV viewers and judges alike when they performed their country-pop original track ‘The Lucky Ones’ during their first audition. Their stunning performance was so good that show judge and creator Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer meaning the duo were fast tracked into the Semi Final stage of the competition.

And earlier this week they competed on the Semi Final and came second on the night to dance troupe Diversity Juniors. They once again mesmerised fans with another outstanding original track ‘Big Wide World’ which has wonderful The Shires vibes;

And tonight the talented duo will take to the stage as they look to be crowned this year’s champions. But whatever happens later this evening we know that the future is very bright for Jack and Tim.

Todays the day that could change our lives forever .. we are humbled and so incredibly grateful for this opportunity to share our music with you .
