Greg Mrva Named CFO At StubHub

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) — Ticket resale giant StubHub announced the appointment of Greg Mrva as the company’s chief financial officer.

Mrva is based in StubHub’s San Francisco headquarters, where he will report to StubHub President Sukhinder Singh Cassidy and eBay Chief Financial Officer Scott Schenkel. He sits on both the StubHub and eBay Finance leadership teams and is responsible for StubHub financial planning, accounting, analysis, operations, management, and strategy.

Mrva will also share responsibility for developing business strategy for StubHub, including, notably, oversight the company’s acquisitions.

Mrva comes to StubHub after a stint in the investment banking world, most recently at Morgan Stanley where he was managing director of Global Internet Banking. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was head of Internet investment banking for Barclays.

Previous experience also includes a tenure as vice president of Mergers and Acquisitions at Yahoo!, and he also was vice president of corporate development at Mpath Interactive.

Earlier in his career, Greg worked at Texas Pacific Group, Montgomery Securities and Goldman Sachs in a variety of private investing and investment banking roles.

Greg received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a bachelor of arts in History and Economics from the University of Virginia.

He previously served on the board of directors of Citadel Broadcasting and GMarket in Korea.
